I'm addicted to . . . oh, you already know this
First of all, listened to Love Power Peace on Monday for about the 8 billionth time. Still one of my favorites. Last night got to hang with an old friend and through him met Reggie Watts. My friend and I had just been talking about how certain celebrities, while they may have different lifestyles than you or me, are still people. And then I meet Reggie Watts, who was just incredibly nice and fun to talk to. So chill. Always fun to meet people you've danced to at the 930 club. Then we left and went to catch a cab, but saw some live music and I asked my friend if he'd ever been to the club it was coming out of. "No, but we should probably check it out." So in we walked to Rockwood Music Hall (I actually thought it was a different club), and saw a really fun set of sort of jazz/hip-hop with randoms like MC Extra Cheese, Dred Scott, and others. I like New York.

so i told neal that my love power peace cd is so scratched that i recently downloaded it. he said that you find james brown albums all the time at flea markets, etc bc he sold so many records, but they are always so scratched they're never worth it. james brown=party=scratched records and cds!
