Reviews of new to me stuff still forthcoming. I listened to a few Nic sets. West Indian Girl was quite listenable, but nothing too crazy. Biirdie was decent, though their cover of Who Were You Thinking of When We Were Making Love Last Night is catchy. My problem was with Orange Lights. Right from the get go, their music and lyrics were grating, and it only got worse. This was my least favorite set I've ever heard on his show. Sorry to be so negative. Maybe I'll listen again and realize I'm wrong.
