Saturday it was back to the vortex that is the Tribeca Grand. This time it was to see Lady Sovereign, whose wiki page reveals some strange and interesting facts. She played for roughly 30 minutes, which is what I was expecting, and I was bobbing my head politely throughout. I believe I recall some foot tapping as well. Here's a pic:


Supposedly Ladytron and The Faint were doing DJ sets as well, but who knows what goes on at this place. I have no idea where the DJ booth is after two visits.

Sunday, during brunch at Sylvia's, we heard gospel music. I think there was a CD for sale, but I'm not sure.

This week could be good, if schedules permit...
